Went to the Guthrie for that show the other night, and the acting was way better than I expected. Everyone felt like actual people, even the ones who weren’t in it that much. Nobody was doing too much, which I appreciated. I don’t know, I just got into it quickly once everything started happening. Would definitely go back...

I went to the Guthrie and the lobby is definitely nice, but it felt really packed before the show. The drink lines moved slowly, and it was tough to find a quieter spot to just hang out for a minute. The staff were perfectly fine and seemed to be doing their best, so I don’t want to blame them. It just feels like a place like this should make the experience a little smoother and more comfortable for everyone. Overall, not a bad visit, just average.

The lines moved along fine, so that part wasn’t really an issue. But the bathroom situation got confusing quickly, and when I asked about it, I kind of felt like I was being talked down to instead of just getting a simple answer.

I always like checking what’s playing at Guthrie because the lineup is usually interesting. They mix in some classics, newer shows, and different styles, so it doesn’t feel like the same thing over and over. For anyone else who likes having a few good options to choose from, it’s a easy place to find something worth seeing.

The bar service was okay—actually, decent is probably the better word, but it was kind of slow before the show. The drinks were fine, though a bit pricey. The staff seemed really busy, but they were still nice enough. Overall, not bad, just not the smoothest experience.

Ended up really enjoying the show overall, but our seats had some weird sightlines... We missed a few moments happening on stage, which was a bit frustrating. Still a good night, just wish we’d picked better seats!

I’ve used guthrietheater a few times to look up shows and buy tickets. It gets the job done, but the site can feel a little slow, and sometimes it takes more clicks than it should. I also wasn’t thrilled about waiting in a queue when I was just trying to grab seats, especially with the ticket prices already feeling steep once all the fees are added. The theater itself is really nice and the performances are usually worth seeing, but for the price, I’d expect the whole booking process to be a bit smoother.

I went to a show here the sound was really good. I was sitting higher up and could still hear every line clearly, which I know a lot of other customers probably appreciate too. The music was balanced and never felt too loud or overwhelming. Overall, it made the whole experience really enjoyable.

I went to a show at the Guthrie Theater with a friend who’s always been big into live theater, and we both walked out genuinely impressed. The production quality was excellent, the sets looked detailed and thoughtfully done, not like anything was thrown together. The lighting added so much to the mood without feeling flashy, and the sound was clear the whole time, which I really appreciate because that can make or break a show for me. The costumes, the scene changes, all of it just felt smooth and professional. You can tell a lot of care goes into their productions. I’d definitely go back

I remember there was this oddly tiny lamp near the hallway that I couldn’t stop noticing for some reason. Overall, it’s a good-looking spot, just not quite the relaxed experience I had in mind.

The tickets were cheaper than I thought they’d be. I feel like other customers would probably be pleasantly surprised too, especially if they’re used to seeing higher prices elsewhere

We took public transit to the Guthrie, and it made the whole night a lot easier. The stop was close by, so we didn’t have to deal with downtown parking or spend extra money on it. Getting back after the show was simple too. Because of that, the whole theater visit felt relaxed instead of turning into a big parking hassle.

The snacks were just kinda stale?? Not terrible, but definitely not fresh either... I was expecting them to be a lot better!!!

I really loved the stage design at the Guthrie. The sets felt close-up and detailed without being too much (which I appreciated). The lighting made everything stand out in such a great way, i had a good time just looking around and taking it all in.
